Digital Ladybug Life Cycle Activities for Preschoolers
I can’t think of a better time to start teaching about life cycles than in Preschool! Preschoolers love being outside, they are curious about the world around them, and most preschoolers I know LOVE creepy crawly bugs. Digital Ladybug Life Cycle Activities for Preschoolers are a great way to practice labeling and identifying the stages of an insect life cycle.

Recommended Grade Level:
Colorful pictures and interactive slides make this digital activity exciting and engaging for little learners.
Vocabulary skills will be strengthened as students learn about the ladybug life cycle and label the egg, ladybug larvae, pupa stage, and adult ladybug.
Learning About Life Cycles:
Learning about insect life cycles in preschool is not only exciting, but it also has many benefits!
Children gain a greater appreciation for nature and the environment when they learn about just how incredible nature is.
Just like with other content areas, preschoolers learn best when they participate in learning and hands on activities.
This life cycle activity is a wonderful, interactive way to practice ordering and identifying life cycle stages. Pair it with some play dough practice or a fun ladybug craft to add in some extra hands on fun!

The first slide shows the life cycle of the lady bug and has the four stages listed at the bottom.
Students will drag and drop the vocabulary word that best matches the picture in the life cycle.
For the last four slides, students will look at the picture and choose the vocabulary word that completes the “I See” sentence at the top of the slide.
This is a fabulous activity for pre-readers! (and science lovers!)
